Book: GOD'S ETERNAL PURPOSE:

          The Covenant of Redemption.

The Bible is an amazing book in that it tells us of God's plan for the ages - what he planned out long before he even began to create the universe. In a sense the Bible tells us the history of the universe from the very inception of the idea of creation by God right through until the future eternal state when there will be a new heavens and a new earth.

In "God's Eternal Purpose" I try to outline from the Bible this history - to tell the story of the Bible from the beginning to the end in a way that clearly outlines the stages of God's dealings with man. Along the way I answer some of the questions about why things are as they are. So I am outlining the meaning of the Bible story.

This story hangs around two key ideas - covenant and redemption, so I trace these two ideas through the Bible to see how God achieves what he set out to achieve in history. This is the Christian story.

In this postmodern age one of the questions people are asking is, "What is your story?" In this book I try to answer this question from a Christian perspective. My hope is that many people who would not call themselves Christians will read this story. I hope it makes sense to them and they make that decision to become part of the Christian story. I have found knowing the outline of this story a powerful tool in keeping me faithful whan times get rough - as they do for all of us who live on earth. It has proven to be a rock, an anchor to my faith over 40 years. I hope many Christian readers will find this book to be a help in giving them a point of stability in a changing world.

This may well be the most important and profound book I will ever write. If you read nothing else off my websit I invite you to read this.
